You play as Piki, a brave penguin venturing into the mysterious depths of the abyss. Armed with your bravery your mission is to retrieve your precious Game Boy Color that awaits you below.
Explore, dig, and fight your way through perilous challenges while uncovering secrets hidden in the dark. Solomar, a mysterious figure, is waiting at the heart of the Abyss.
Only you can navigate these dangers and reclaim your treasured device.

I needed to install a new version of Java on macOS. The game is working now. I'm currently learning to play this genre.

Also dealing with the java version mismatch - Ubuntu 24.04 doesn't appear to have a recent enough version of the JRE. That's unfortunate :( Any chance you can rebuild with an older JRE for all the folks on Ubuntu 24.04?
Hello, thanks you for your message. I'm working on it I'm going to downgrade the java version of the game so that you have access to it and you're not the only one having this problem. It will be fixed for the next version of the game.

Unfortunately no it's version 8 of java and my game are on java 23. I would make sure that java is included with my game next time for linux and mac to avoid this problem.

Tried to run this on my mac and got the following error: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: main/ApplicationMain has been compiled by a more recent version of the Java Runtime (class file version 67.0), this version of the Java Runtime only recognizes class file versions up to 52.0
So, uhh, now what do I do? :-|
Hi, thanks for dowloading my game. Sorry that you got this issue, it's because you need the latest version of java (Java 23) to run my game.
I came from Ryisnow's YouTube and wanted to try the game, first of all its a cool game second i was bug hunting and just run around until my hunger goes to one im just stuck there and couldn't move, is that a death screen or no?.

Hellow, saw your game via Ryisnow's TwitterI may have done something wrong but I just tried playing and when I hit 1 hunger I wasn't able to do anything as if the game froze, no escape button, and even clicking the X in the window wouldn't close it so I had to shut down the process.
The only thing I'd say game wise which I wish was there was a button to examine what you're standing on so you don't have to pick it up just to drop it again.
One confusion I had was, when I went toward the bottom of the screen where it appeared the path lead on 'downward' off the screen there wasn't a transition of any kind, I just couldn't go down it appeared.
Hi, thanks for your feedback. I already know for the freezing issue, this will be resolved in the next patch or update (I hope). And if you want to go on the next level/depth you need to go on the ">" character and press the ">" key to go down. (You can press "?" to show the help menu)
After getting the gameboy back to the surface, is there something I'm supposed to do?
Hi, not at all if you have the win screen. But I guess that you are at depth 1 and therefore not completely out of the abyss, if you have the gameboy and you are at depth 1 you still have to find the last "staircase" to finish.
Hi, just claimed the game for the sale. I use a Windows device. Unfortunately, when I download the Windows one, my computer does not allow me to and says that it detected a virus. Could you fix this in any way? Thank you in advance!
Hi ! Sorry this happend, I checked on my side and it's a false positive. Unfortunately I didn't sign my game so this could happen thank you for the feed back I will find out so that it doesn't happen again.
